Remo's Clear Emperor heads are made with two free-floating plies of 7-mil Mylar, making them the brightest sounding multi-ply heads and most durable of the classic clear WeatherKing series. The two free-floating plies of 7-mil Mylar film gives consistent open tones and accounts for their popularity among many of today's pop, R&B and rock drummers. Known for its tunability, semi-bright resonance, and plenty of attack, the Coated Emperor tom drumheads work great as either a batter or resonant head. The Remo Emperors are the result of continuing refinement and improvement in Remo drumhead materials and manufacturing methods.
As a drumhead specialist for over 50 years, Remo has developed an incredibly wide variety of replacement drumheads to fit every drumming application. Not only is a full selection of Remo heads available to meet the diverse needs of drumset players in country, jazz, rock, pop, R&B, hip-hop, Latin and every other style, Remo drumheads also bring advanced technologies and exceptional performance capabilities to the specialized needs to players in the marching, concert and world percussion areas. Comments about Remo Emperor Clear Tom Rock Drumhead Pack:
I received these accidentally and am glad I did. I use most makes and like them all. These produce a low end deep sound. I got a new high end floor tom the other day and it sounded dead with the stock head. I was afraid I got a dud. Changed to this head and the sound is back. Give them a try.
