Clear Emperor tom heads are made with two free-floating plies of 7-mil Mylar film, making them the brightest sounding multi-ply heads and most durable of the classic clear WeatherKing series.

Coated Emperor heads are warmer and more durable than Clear Emperors. They're also made with two free-floating plies of 7-mil Mylar film, which gives consistent open warm tones which accounts for the popularity of Emperor drumheads among many of today's studio, pop, R&B, and rock drummers.

The fusion packs include Remo Emperor Coated or Emperor Clear replacement drumheads for 10", 12", and 14" toms. The standard packs include Remo Emperor Coated or Emperor Clear drumheads for 12", 13", and 16" toms.

The quality of the drums are very good. they aren't made out of any cheap material, and they are very durable.

Now i purchased these drum heads about a year ago, and they are still   there! I play metal, and when I hit the toms, I REALLY hit them and   these heads are still holding up. They are very durable drum heads, and   they are at a good price.

I couldn't believe the great punchy sound I got from these. Also, very versatile, dry, punchy, etc. Just had a problem with one of the tom's head kept coming loose and getting wrinkles. All in all, I plan to keep using these for a while.

If you like clear heads that sound wet but still have some depth to them try these. I have used them and are my favorite clear drum heads. They sound like pinstripes but are a little more open. The Emperor heads are what i use from now on although i have switched to the coated, but if you want a wet sound get these.

these are realy good heads.I played on toms with these heads and i got to say these are realy good. like most tom heads you have to put tape on them, unless you care how your drums look well then just get the remo rem0's snd they'll sound just right
