    I just got these last week and I tried them on my sound percussion 8 piece kit and WOW it sounds awesome! It took me a while to get them tuned but once I did, there is no way I am going to change to anthing else. It just blew my away.one more thing, even Joey from slipknot and Lars of metallica used these in studio and live so yeah, its really great

    This drum head sounds awesome! You know, even if one review is bad for the drumhead, think of it this way, any bass drum head by Remo, Evans and others, is always better then the stock drumhead that comes with the kit

    I recently bought a Tama Imperial star drum kit and it came with factory heads which i quickly replaced with the Remo Pinstripe heads which really improved the sound quality from the drums, especially the Bass Drum head, Good job Remo with these heads

    Bought this head with high expectations being a die hard Remo fan at that time. This head lasted me a week. I even chilled out on playing hard and it busted. Don't buy this head. Sorry Remo, but you got lazy with that one. I suggest the Aquarian SuperKick II or Evans EMAD 2. Great heads!

    Overall this was a great-sounding head!! It has a valuable tuning range, whether you're looking for a tight thump, or a sound tuned damped, wet, and funky, it does it all! Despite the sound, I was quite suprised with the durability, because it broke in about a year or two, so I ended up taping it, then it held after that. 2 ply heads rarely break! Replacing them often is vital, because these get very rough on the edges if you keep them on your kick for too long. The Remo Clear Pinstripe Bass Heads are still second to none in my book, so I suggest you pick one up right now and give it a whirl!
