Have these on a vintage set of ludwig rockers
great sound , nice deep sound on the 13,15, & 18 '' toms. if you like pre muffled & lots of bottom end these would be the one's .

These heads work great for 14, 16, and 18 inch drums. But for smaller drums like 10, 12, and 13 inch drums. They can dent after hard hits. But besides that, these heads are pretty good.

I've played drums for 35 years and now I have what I think is the best sounding bass drum ever thanks to switching to the Remo PS3. I was so stoked playing my drums today that I think I was hyperventilating. I replaced my Aquarian Superkick II with this Remo head and the change was instant and dramatic. FAR, FAR better! And not only is the sound just superb, the feedback to my bass drum pedal beaters is totally different and lets me work the double pedal much faster and with better control than before. It's like having a brand new pedal upgrade as well. The sound, dynamics, and feel are incredible. My setup: Pacific CX 22" bass drum, Remo PS3 batter, Aquarian regulator resonant head, stock black Pacific dampening pillow, Pacific 600 double pedal with stock beaters ( medium size beaters).Hands down the best sounding bass drum I've ever played. BUY THIS HEAD!

I've been using Power Stroke 3's now for several years. Never had a problem so far. Easy to tune and very durable. Kills the extra annoying rings your toms pick up while playing. I'd recommend Powerstoke3 or pinstripes.

These heads are great! They are very dark sounding and have no annoying overtones. So do yourself a favor, BUY THEM!

Man you have to get these. These are the best sounding heads I have ever HAD!! Once you get them tuned, they sound better than a AC-DC concert!!! If i were you I would try to get some better drumsticks, because these heads are too good for yours!! I would get some Millinum 2 drumsticks, man those sound good on them heads. And when you buy these heads, just remember, Musician's Friend will always be there, trust me I've been with them for over 27 YEARS!!!!!

what a great drumhead. i've used quite a few differnet drumheads, and these are the best in my opinion. just the right amount of reverb, but not to much, and SO easy to tune. i have them for my batter and resonating heads, they sound great!

I got these heads 2 weeks ago and they just sound perfect, it doesn't matter if you tune them up high or low they still give off that perfect sound you want to hear.

These heads are outstanding for tone, warmth and projection. Even though they are single-ply, they last a while. The only place they came up short for me was when using brushes or hotrods. But in those cases a coated head might serve better anyway.
