    won't work with old style track clamp

        Comments about Remo RotoTrack Roto Tom Mounting Rail:

        I have the old style rototom stand, which had a chrome rectangular clamp that goes around the rototrac bar. This black rototrac appears to be the exact same dimensions as the old silver (aluminum) bar, but it is just a slight bit bigger, and won't go into the rectangle clamp. You will crack the rectangle trying to pry it open. Save yourself the hassle, it won't work with that clamp, I tried it. It will work with the new style clamp that has the flat mount and carriage bolt assembly. That's why I gave it 3 stars. If you have the newer style stand, its a 5 star purchase.

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
