Overview
A traditional Japanese Shime Daiko with wrench-tuned convenience.
Remo's wrench-tuned Shime Daiko features a turnbuckle-tensioning system that enables you to evenly tune the drum to an extremely high pitch with ten, 3/8" tuning lugs. The ACOUSTICON shell is lathe-turned with a traditional routed bearing edge for a bright, full sound and looks much like the Japanese traditional Shime Daiko.
The TYPE 10 NUSKYN drumheads are inspired by the traditional Taiko drum heads and are stitched over a durable steel ring producing a bright full sound without the pitch being affected with varying climate changes.
