I play a lot of musical theater gigs and am on the throne for hours. This one allows me to remain comfortable and mobile. I've had trouble with my legs cramoping ar falling asleep on others. It's a big heavy think to transport, though, but worth the effort. Buy the backrest.Roc&Soc set me up with a case for it - also big & heavy. I had a weld fail and they took great care of me. Good company!

There is no way to adjust the spring motion. What you see is what you get. If you don't plan on keeping your feet firmly planted on the floor, you should maybe try their other non-motion chairs. The seat and optional backrest however are like sitting on a cloud in heaven.

I have to haul this myself. The Guitar Player hates it because it's so heavy. I make him haul all the other stuff. I have to sit for long periods of time so it works out for that. But be forewarned. This thing blowshard to move around. It's heavy.
