Comments about Roland RT-30HR Dual Acoustic Snare Drum Trigger:

This trigger is quite good and sensitive when setup properly with your module's trigger threshold and other relevant settings. It picks up most of what I play, including ghost notes and varied dynamic levels. But you do have to play everything in a more "enunciated" way, if you will. It doesn't quite match the performance of a real snare drum, but it's very good for a trigger.

The only problem is it won't trigger two sounds separately when I play the rim of my snare (a real snare with a mesh head). Trigger settings in my module don't change this, no matter how I set crosstalk, threshold, gain, etc. I've tried everything, but this might as well be a single zone trigger unless I can make it trigger each sound one at a time.

I give it 4 stars anyway. It might not be the RT's fault, but it could be that my module can't handle it.

I got 4 of this, really like them. I use them on mesh heads and use the Roland td-25 module, what a great sound.
