This is definitely better than a zildjian A. depending on the sticks youre using, this ride can change from rock to fusion to contemporary jazz. Great investment!

This ride is awesome! although, the range is a bit limited... If you're a softer player then this will be perfect for a really thick and clean sound, if you beat it there are a lot of really great overtones that come out of the body and bell. not great for any music other than rock, metal, funk... overall great buy, but don't think you can get down on jazz with this alone.

This ride is the second best ever next to the HH rock ride, but there is no sense in spending the extra cash because it is a close match. It has a VERY clear and cutting 'ping' that could beat out any Zildjian A series. It also has a killer bell. This ride is sweet. If you want to hear it but don't feal like driving to the drum store, buy the two latest godsmack records. Or if you want to hear it even more clearly, pick up their new dvd. This ride gets an A plus.
