    Great effect crash

        Comments about Sabian AAX Aero Crash Cymbal:

        I hit the 16" model in my local drum shop and I fell in love. I was strongly considering the HHX evolution o-zone crash, but I didn't quite LOVE the way it sounded. I found this on the wall and I was set. This sounds like the HHX ozone except much brighter and smooth.. If that makes sense. This is a perfect dark airy complement to normal crash cymbals and has really improved the variation in my sound. I have banged this thing up just as I would my other crashes and from the 6 months or so I've had it, it seems super durable. A lot of people have told me you have to be careful with a cymbal that's been drilled with holes because they're weaker, but I don't gather that at all from this cymbal. Dark, airy, short sustain, and a really weird but cool sounding bell. This cymbal is a perfect addition to any setup, but it doesn't sound like a normal crash, so just keep that in mind.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

        16" AAX Aero

        I got the 16" version due to the fact the kit is set up in my living room. The cymbal really cuts thru but is not overpowering and sound like a china. It has a very unique sound to it. I am very happy with it.

        I got my 14" AAX X-plosion in two weeks which was nice also.

        I am very please with both.
