        Comments about Sabian AAX V-Crash Cymbal:

        I picked up the 16 and 18 crash pack and they're fantastic. The 16 is perfect for accents and crashing on. The 18 is heavier, the bell sounds like a ride bell and is perfect for crashing on and getting that big open sound. Though they are thinner, they have the perfect amount of give, but still have a very bright sound and in a way don't sound as thin as they are. I play mostly metal, but I also play jazz and rock and they are perfect for all of the genres I play.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

            I picked up the 16"/18" combo last night, and I'm VERY impressed with the early quality of these plates for such a low price. Right out of the box, they have a pleasing timbre that comes across as both musical and rich. The lathing job is gorgeous, as well. For [$] for a matching pair, this may be one of Sabian's best deals ever.

            Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
