      This cymbal is great

Comments about Sabian B8 Crash Cymbal:

this is an amazing buy if you want an awsome cymbal that will last a long time..get this by far the best cymbal i own or have ever played on for constant and practical use.
its a decently heavy ride and for any size its great i use the 14 inch tho mine recently cracked but is about 14 years old so it got the moneys worth
This is a kind of heavier sound that i like...i play with a paiste pst 5 ride and a zildjian a custom 14 inch crash and sabian b8 hi hats nd sabian b8 14 inch crash....the crash adds a heavy tone to accent the brighter cymbals and the sound quality is fantastic
probably the best buy for a musician on a budget and for one who has enough money to buy the expensive stuff...honestly ill probably use the b8 my whole life its a great sturdy cymbal and has lots of character and sound qualities great for punk rock/ alternative and metal as well as rock nd roll

Comments about Sabian B8 Crash Cymbal:

Iv had a 14 and 16 inch b8 crash for about a year now. They are ok. the 14 inch is deffinently the better of the 2. neither of them have cracked or dented, their very durable. there good if u want a very fast crash. But they arent very good sounding, they have an odd overtone and just one basic tone, no fuzz or crashy/washy sound. And one more thing. Mine came flipped inside out. the body of the crash is flipped up. im not sure if it is supposed to be like that. It actually sounds better inverted than flipped the right way.

      Sabian B8 Crash Cymbal (Review)

      By Drumming Ryan

      from Canada

Comments about Sabian B8 Crash Cymbal:

This SABIAN B8 Crash is amazingly cheap, and a great start for beginners. It has a very bright sound, and it projects nicely during concert. I wouldn't recommend this Crash if you plan to be playing with a band or recording anything whatsoever. I got this crash with my drum kit, and the first thing I noticed was that the sound hurt my ears. It wasn't the volume, it was just that the cymbal had a sharp, almost screechy after-tone. Second, it was really heavy, as if I had to push down on it while I struck the cymbal. Third, it broke after about 7 months, but this was partly due to the fact that I was hitting my cymbals wrong. As for recording, this cymbal just stands out way to much, like a random screechy ring in the middle of a song. But if you're new to the drums, or you're just someone short for cash, just wanting to jam out on the instrument in your basement, then this crash will be good enough.

Comments about Sabian B8 Crash Cymbal:

The whole B8 line sucks. They're overpriced, low quality, and just sound bad. The crash has a slow respone, bad tone, and annoyingly slow decay. Don't buy this.
