    get the job done

Comments about Sabian B8 Cymbal 2-Pack:

For the price this pack is great, hats are decent, mine lasted about 3 years before they started to crack, after playing on the crash/ride for a bout 7 years I decided it was time to part with it, the ride was decent as a light ride, ok as a heavy crash, but for metal...ride the crap outta it...IT WILL NEVER BREAK!!!all in all, worth it, if your starting, or buying for your student, or on a tight budget, get em or play your crappy brass cymbals!

I've played drums for about five. About a year agoour church bough the B8 set. The crash is much to thick and the Hihats are to deep sounding.think twice before buying the B8 pack!

    not so good

Comments about Sabian B8 Cymbal 2-Pack:

I got this when I got my drumset, and at first they seemed ok, but now that I'm playing and getting more serious into drumming, they're not sounding too good. The rides alright, but the hi hats are terrible...don't get this set if you're looking for decent hi hats. Mine are so bent and messed up, and I don't even hit hard....I've had them for about 4 months. So I'd say save your money on this one..Sabian makes good quality, just kinda lost it here.

Comments about Sabian B8 Cymbal 2-Pack:

I got these things for my set that i now own. i thought (because they were sabian) they would be good. but it turns out they suck. the hi-hats are dull and horrible sounding. ride is less than ok. ride is usable, but not worth the money. DO NOT BUY THESE!

    Best beginner buy possible!

Comments about Sabian B8 Cymbal 2-Pack:

I got this when I first started playing. Sure, they're no pro cast bronze cymbals, but they're amazing for starting out on your first drum kit.

    B8 is Great

Comments about Sabian B8 Cymbal 2-Pack:

When playing the music I play, these cymbals are just what I need and no more than that. The crash/ride is perhaps the best part of this package, because it makes for good accents and is very versatile. The hats produce overtones, but that is to be expected from budget cymbals, but it shouldnt matter because almost all of the overtones get covered up by the music. They are good cymbals if you know anything about the difference between cast cymbals (AA, AAX) and sheet cymbals (B8, B8Pro, ProSonix). If you want to compare the cymbals to anything, compare cast cymbals to cast cymbals and sheet cymbals to sheet cymbals. Comparing the two is about as fair as comparing professionals to beginners. But besides that I am completely satisfied with this and recommend it to any beginner-intermediate drummer with a low budget.

    BEGINNER

    By Anonymous

Comments about Sabian B8 Cymbal 2-Pack:

tThese cymbals are for BEGINNERS ONLY. I am 12, I have been playing drums since I was about 8, but I only got a drumset last year (leared how to play at music stores mostly) and my dad got me this pack. It was great for about three days before I realized that I didn't have a ride or a crash i had one right in the middle. The tone is ok, and it does last a long time (no dents or cracks yet) but it is not a very versitle cymbal. i would recommend this to kids just starting. If you have the money for kids just starting, I would recommend zildjian ZXTs (don't get ZBTs)or ZXT titanium.

    I definitely recommend them.

Comments about Sabian B8 Cymbal 2-Pack:

This was my second set of cymbals. These are good for beginners on a budget. The crash ride has a great dark sounding crash and a semi bright ride. The hi-hats sound very decent. These might be the best cymbals a beginner could get. I definitely recommend them.
