sounds great, but.....

Comments about Sabian B8 Pro Heavy Crash Cymbal:

I got the 16 inch heavy crash and I liked the sound, but right out of he box it kind of dissapointed me because it had some very long overtones. But after a month and after it got a bit dirty it sounded awesome!!!! It's very bright and loud, very loud!!!! It's great if you like that kind of cymbal. If not you should go for the b8's they are a still bright but not as much as this one.

Not for me

Comments about Sabian B8 Pro Heavy Crash Cymbal:

I had a 16 inch years ago when I was in a death metal band and I didn't like it. It was to bright and not loud enough. I don't think it lasted me a year. Get a B8 rock crash, it's lasted 4 years, it's loud and lower in pitch.

Heavy is the Word

Comments about Sabian B8 Pro Heavy Crash Cymbal:

Fine quality, great value. Budgeted boys need to keep these in mind. I have the 16" and 18" crashes. They look great and have volume. They don't say "Heavy" for nothing. You have to give em a good whack to get the desired sound otherwise you just kind of get an everlasting ring. In my opinion, the bell of the 18" gives a nice high pitch "Ride". Cool extra feature. Get thinner jammies though for a softer touch.

Sabian Heavy Crash

Comments about Sabian B8 Pro Heavy Crash Cymbal:

Ok...This is probably the best cymbal I've ever played.. It is very bright with a nice tone and doesn't really last that long which is perfect for those unwanted overtones. The only downside I have for this cymbal is that even though it is made for heavy hitters you have to hit it hard to make a good crash sound. Besides that this is a must buy!
