Brilliant, focused cymbal sounds at a price that's right.
This pack includes five Sabian Pro Rock cymbals: the 22" ride, 16" and 18" crashes, and pair of 14" hi-hat cymbals. The B8 Pro Rock ride has an intensely powerful sound with distinctly metallic stick definition and a crisp, cutting bell. The B8 Pro Rock crash cymbals are medium heavy, designed for high volume playing with bright, explosive, and full-bodied response. The 14" B8 Pro Rock hi-hat cymbals have a strong high-end power that is bright with a focused intensity that's direct, loud, and cutting.
Using a rapid-tech process called virtual cloning Sabian creates B8 Pro models from master templates to form the consistently bright, focused, and effective sounds of more expensive Euro-brand cymbals. B8 Pro is pure quality bronze polished to a Brilliant Finish in a complete range of the most advanced cymbals available at these affordable prices. These cymbals are produced with pinpoint lathing that creates a narrower groove for a fast, lively response on the top, while the traditional AA lathing creates a wider groove for a fuller, richer tone on the bottom side.

I've had these cymbals for a while now. About 3 years I believe. No cracking or damage to any cymbal what-so-ever. These cymbals sound great for the price. Obviously, they're not the greatest cymbals in the world, but the quality you get for the price is amazing. They're loud enough to cut through the mix live even. I have a new full set up of A customs on the way right now, and I'll happily be adding this pack to my practice set. Honestly, my band mates told me that these sound great and it would be dumb for me to get new ones (but what do they know? :D ). Anyways, I highly recommend this pack to the beginning drummer. These things should last you a while.
The hi-hats and 22" ride, i think are worth the money alone. The other two are sound pretty good. The hi-hats are crisp and clean. You can't go wrong if you buy them.
i bought this because i hade stock rogers cymbals and sine yo can bend them in half i bought new ones this is great when you finnaly find the right adjustments for ur taste if you are looking for good cymbals then you defenatly need to buy these!!!!
I own all of these cymbals, bought separately, but they are absolutely amazing! i hit them with all i have and they still produce a very consistent sound. i bought these right when i got my trashy drum set and i loved the crash, so i bought the ride and hi-hat too. they are great, and you cant beat the value. these almost in-destructable cymbals will last longer then you will.
I ordered these cymbals two months ago. The first gig was a small venue and they seemed a bit too loud when played with "feelin" but as I figured out the best angles and heights I found the perfect mix. I also own a set of regular B8's That still sound good but are very hard to keep clean due to the higher bronze content. The B8 pros have a brilliant finish that only requires wiping off finger oils after each gig. Overall Im very happy with them, The only downside is they didn't come with a case like my old B8s and that case only holds up to a 20"....I love this 22"ride tho, it floats like butter directly over my bass drum without clashing with my vocals and the crashes and hats sing like angels....tho they are budget priced, they are good for anyone drumming for food money, And since Zildian don't back their workmanship like the old days I'll never play anything but Sabian.....who needs those Turkish turkeys anyway ?
Just got these cymbals about 3 days ago and was just blown away by how good they sound. 18 inch and 22 inch rang a little to long just apply a couple piece of duct tape on the bottom side fixed that quik. Great Cymbals BUY EM!!!!!
My B8 Pro's have lasted me about 7 or 8 years. They sound great and I would buy them again. These cymbals are very visually attractive as well.
I've been drumming for almost 5 years, and these are the best cymbals ive ever owned! i have the regular b8s and not the b8 pros, but there's really no differnce. they all sound great, accept for the 16" cras, but i traded that in and got a splash cymbal. anyway the quality is good, the sound is great and they're deffinatly worht the money!
wow sabian outdid itself with this one! the quality is great. sure, these arntthe best cymbals, but there great for your money. if you have the money buy this. i would put the tightess of your cymbal(not hi-hat)stands a little looser, but at the ame time tight, because i find the sound goes away faster, and if you hit it hard, then the sound can stay for a long time.
I just bought this cymbal pack from my local music store, and was a little skeptical. I thought, for all this cash it better be worth it. I am not a fan of sabian, but heard these were great so decided to check them out. They rock! The hats are so warm and the ride and crashes are all full and brilliant! Its a little pricey, but worth it . I recommend these cymbals to and beginner looking to improve their sound overall. Paiste is still better, though. So is Zildjian.
