I have used many different types, brands, and sizes of cymbals. As far as splashes are concerned this is by far one of the best sounding splashes for live situations. The B8 bronze gives it a sharp, high pitched, and bright sound. These splashes can cut through any mix and sound amazing. I purchased my first after breaking my AAX splash, and I had a show in a couple of hours so I was in a bind. My bassist kept complimenting it and after that show I bought a whole set and retired my AAX splashes. I dont know about the rest of the B8PRO line but the splashes are by far the best.

ok I have a stagg 8 in. splash and practically I love it, but it looks sooo ugly so I decided to buy this one in a 10 in. It came in about 5 days and I was super exited and loved them... at the start! dont get me wrong It is super hard to break, but the sound just doesn't ring! I hit it and in it has a quick ping and then it stops and I know thats what you think would be good... like no overtone and whatnot but it just sounds soo bad! its higher pitched than my 8 in. and practicly doesn't ring at all! if you are looking for something that sounds good buy the stagg 8 in. I cant say so much for any other sizes becausse I dont own them but its cheap and sounds great.this b8 pro looks awesome but doesn't pack good sound.

I've owned the 6" splash for about a year now, and as much as I use it, it still sound like the first day I got it, it has that nice chris adler sound to it, which is what I was looking for, good job sabian.

      Beats more expensive cymbals

This cymbal is amazing. I bought it on sale for much lower than retail expecting to be satisfied but it turned out to be an awesome cymbal. It's got a fast, glassy, splashy sound that not many other high end cymbals can compare to.

      What?

      By TheBigPhoney

This thing sounds like total junk. It sounds like no other splash I've every heard. Maybe some people like it for that reason, but I recommend you try it before you buy.

I've been playing the drums for about 8 yrs now & when I added these B8 pro's to my set I never thought they would bring out the uniqueness of it. I own a 6in. & a 10in. Whenever I play the drums I am a cymbal fanatic. Even while doing churchin I emobilize the cymbals. B8 pro's are one of my favorite cymbals.

      Pretty good cymbal

      By Yamaha YD Custom

I've had the 8 inch for almost 2 years and it has some dents, but no cracks. It's really penetrating with fast decay, but it's also really bright.

      great buy!

This cymbal is awsome! You would never know you're playing a B8 pro, you would think its an AA. it sounds great. I own the 10 inch, its not the loudest thing out there but its ear piercing. Its got a great bright sound to it. Mine was only $60 or so, incredible buy. Highly recommended!

      Pretty nice

      By Arley man

      from Hpizzle NY

This is a good cymbal I guess. I had for about 4 years, and then it cracked around the bell in a bunch of places, and it sounds like crap- it's all dead sounding now. I guess for how long it lasted it was worth it? While it sounded good it had a nice accent sound- bright, clean. Sometimes I felt like it sounded a little tiny, but most of the time it was nice in between a fill or with the toms or on a two or four beat with the snare. Overall, pretty good. Oh, I hit fairly hard too, so keep that in mind, since I had it for this long.
