This is a great splash cymbal even though it's the cheapest. I just got it today. It makes a sound like a bell. I was expecting that beacause it's only 6 inches. But I was really suprised at the quality and sound of this cymbal.
i bought this cymbal at a local music store....it looked nice and cheap....i thot it wd make mi set look more professionl, but once i played with it, it sounded terrible....just hitting it during a song sounds soooo bad!!! dnt buy this...instead invest into a better more expensive cymbal. UVE BEE WARNED!!!
This cymbal is great! I have had the 10 inch for about 3 years. It is quick, responsive, cutting, and overall great for the money. I play pretty hard on it and it has held up like a champ. For the money it is unbelievable.
This cymbal is not cheap sounding, you have to remember its only 6in. The sound is a loud bell, there is no ringing or much of a splash sound. I like it because its different, and can add more to accented notes. But if your looking for a true splash get something a little bigger.
well i was being cheap so i wanted to just throw in another cymbal to my set so i picked this up. i like the fact that you can mount it on top of another cymbal. but it looks lame and sometimes it interferes when striking the other cymbal.it's cheap, it sounds cheap, but not too bad. when playing you can kinda tell that it's the cheap cymbal out of all of the rest, but it's not complete trash. it sounds pretty bad when recorded. i would still recommend it to anyone who is on a low budget and is looking for a short splash sound. if you are out to get a nice splash... go higher.
Sabian, want can I say, they make great splashes, but I took it off because they dont go with my music style, I would recommend this to drummers that play light rock, jazz, or solo artists. If you need a good splash, this is a product that you should really look into.
