A warm, musical mix to inspire the discerning drummer.

The Sabian Hand Hammered Vintage Ride Cymbal is big on volume and fat with tone. The Vintage Ride has a wide-open and crash ride sound that is today's hippest from the past. Sabian Brilliant finish ride cymbals are highly buffed and preserved under a clear protective lacquer coating.

Hand Hammered series cymbals speak with a musical darkness steeped in nearly 400 years of cymbal making history. Sabian artisans craft with a secret process that turns bronze into soulful cymbals, rich with dark, traditional tone. Each individual Sabian Hand Hammered cymbal sounds artistically unique.

Comments about Sabian Hand Hammered Vintage Ride Cymbal Brilliant:

Okay, a few years back my friend (a guitarist) gets this surpise gift from his uncle: a sonor force 1000 drum set with EVERYTHING. For years my friend was blind to the true contents of his kit.then i came along.Im our drummer, for our high school frosh 'band'. I took a look at his setup and almost died. He had DW 7000 hardware, Sabian b8 hi-hats, a Zildjian Asvedis 17in crash, and THIS. I looked at it for a few seconds and told him 'do you know what this is?'Once he knew all about this cymbal, he proceeded to rant around how he had such an awesome ride. And i don;t blame him. Our first band practice i played it...GODLINESS!!!!! An overall dark, warm tone with an even, dark wash, and a crash to make angels fall down to hell. I sometimes use only the bell for certain segments of our songs because it sounds so good. it cuts, its got pang, and it contrasts perfectly with the music yet is always in harmony with the cymbal. Riding on this baby is a dream... warmth and definition for Jazz and yet such a strong tone that it begs for metal. If dark, godly tones are your thing, BUY THIS RIDE CYMBAL. You will not be disappointed. i is worth the $400 needed to bring it out from the forges of heaven: AKA Sabian Factory, Meductic, New Brunswick.
