I'm the kind of person who rarely awards 5 stars to any product because I believe that indicates no possible way a product could be improved. Well, I know sound quality is completely subjective and there may be people out there that won't find this cymbal the manifestation of perfection but it hits it for me. I couldn't be happier with a cymbal than I am with this one. While it may seem a little pricey, you'll see what a bargain it is when you hear the sweet music that comes from this articulated piece of metal. Buy this and you'll be thanking yourself for a long time to come.

Play Zildjian and Sabian cymbals. I have 14" A New Beat hats, a 22" K Custom Ride, and a 21" K Crash/Ride. before, the K Crash/Ride was my primary crash.. not anymore. I picked up an 18" HH Dark Crash at my local music store after choosing it over multiple other Sabian HH, HHX, and Zildjian K, and K Custom crashes. This crash is basically the equivalent of a Zildjian Custom Dark crash, but it has more presence and tone.. more soul. I prefer Zildjian Hats and Rides,but Sabian for everything else. HH all the way, you will love this crash

Awesome! By far, the most under-rated crashes ever. HH Dark Crashes have the musicality of HH thin crashes with the extra punch and durability of HH medium-thin crashes. Dark and full body sounds. These cymbals can truly do it all. Sabian's old-school cymbal makers are very talented. Zildjian is clueless. I have the 16, 17 & 18in HH dark crashes and love them. Musicality, balance, durability, punch. You don't know what you're missing.

this crash cymbal is one of the greatest i've played on. it's great for blending into the music and excellent for that added punch if you need it in your set-up.
