      OVERVIEW

Recycling has never been this fun!

Sabian SR2 is a new concept in cymbals.

These cymbals are recycled, used, returned, or refurbished cymbals that Sabian receives back through inventory swaps, trades, exchanges. They are given their own unique surface look and logo and consist mainly of high-quality pre-played Sabian cymbals, including those played by major Sabian artists, returned from consignments, reviewed in magazines, displayed at trade shows, or even cymbals that came through the production process with slight blemishes that ultimately disappear with the refinishing process.

Each cymbal must meet specific sound requirements before being considered for the SR2 line. Once those requirements are met, each cymbal is cleaned and then the new SR2 finish is applied.

The 16" SR2 Heavy Crash and all Sabian SR2s have their own logo and a very unique look, in order to clearly distinguish them from their first-run cymbal lines. Sabian believes it is very important for you to know exactly what you're getting when you buy this heavy SR2 crash, so this Sabian cymbal has its own special identity to clearly identify it as a reconditioned cymbal.

All of the cymbals are cast B20 product, but there is no differentiation by series at all, so any cymbal could have started as an AA, AAX, HH, HHX, or Vault. The Sabian SR2s are only designated by size and weight.

The cymbals within SR2 are priced based on size only, rather than on the series they were before reconditioning. They are identified only by size, and one of 3 weight categories. These cymbals are available to you at significantly less than a brand new Sabian would cost, and will not be covered by any warranty through Sabian.

Note: Available supply of SR2s will depend entirely on the amount of cymbals that are available for reconditioning. They will be available on a first come-first served basis. Since they are refurbished, they will only be available as they are received. There is no warranty through Sabian on the SR2 heavy crash cymbal, since it's considered used; however, this Sabian cymbal can be returned and exchanged through our return policy.

This crash cymbal is available on a first come-first served basis. Grab it while you can!

Comments about Sabian SR2 Heavy Crash Cymbal:

These cymbals are a great bang for your buck. Pretty cool that these are basically demo models that are refurbished.

I totally recommend buying a few. Are great sounding cymbals:

Comments about Sabian SR2 Heavy Crash Cymbal:

O.K..I got my 18",heavy SR2 today.I put it on the stand and tried it out.The bell is piercing and very musical.the bow could be used as a ride and the crash is "Big"!I realize that these cymbals' differ from one to the next, therefore I tried to minimize my chances'of getting a "Clunker",by getting a heavy ride.If they put that much metal in it,to begin with, then it makes sense that it would still have plenty of bronze left.;) The 18" I got is not that far from a "Paragon"sound.maybe a bit flatter, because of the finish! The crash sound is "large, big, resonant"and
"Pretty"!I would say that there was a certain amount of hand-hammering due to some marks, near the bottom of the bell. The sound would indicate a better cymbal,to begin with.Like I said,I got lucky!!! For the price, this cymbal is superior to anything,in the B8 line of cymbals'!Getting an SR2 is a bit of a "Roll of the dice".I took the chance and am glad that I did!

Comments about Sabian SR2 Heavy Crash Cymbal:

Looks to be a former AA series cymbal. Very Heavy in weight, so this thing will cut thru anything. It can hang with my AAX Xplosion crash, maybe a bit louder but Darker dryer sound due to the process that these cymbals go thru. Maybe I got lucky on this one, as all these cymbals won't fit with everyone's kit. I'd put this on my metal kit any day! Price was so good I decided to buy a second!!

It's a piece of junk, not worth the time or the money to get.
If you are looking for a GOOD cymbal in this price range i recommend Sabian Xs20, They provide a bright responsive sound at a great price.
                      DON'T BUY THIS CYMBAL
