Compared to some other "budget" cymbals, this thing is amazing. I was looking for a lighter ride, something I could use in small venues with a reduced kit and something I could crash on a little here and there. And, I didn't want to spend very much. This cymbal has a great sound and it's very very easy to keep quiet with the tip hits. Very pleasant ping and semi-bright ride, well formed crash that doesn't ring out too long.
Downsides: it's easy to hit or crash on it and make a kind of nasty sound. This could just be my skill level though. Like a lot of things, there is a learning curve here.

I recommend this cymbal to all questioning purchasing it, as well as others. I loved mine until it become near unplayable (since once the cracks get too big, the sound quality worsens, and I don't really like dealing with a messy cymbal). I'm buying it again, since it's a great sound, and a great price. It would be a loss to not have this in my setup.
Very nice tri-toned sound. It cuts and blends very nicely. Fairly versitile. Feels and rings good. Great crash, okay ride. The bell is eh.
I would definetly recomend for Sabian fans, as well as all kinds of drummers. It's a very versitile cymbal. However, I used it for about 10 months, and it cracked in 3 places: 2 cracks in the center in different locations, as well as along the rim of the bell (somewhere I have never cracked a cymbal before). I used it a lot, as a crash and as a ride for less-heavy chorus's and bridges. I also lay my cymbals flat, and beat them hard, so these are also factors that played into the cracking of it.
Great for the money, but mine cracked badly fairly quickly. It's fairly light, which is great for the tone, not so great for the style of music I like having it in. I still recommend it, but maybe get a warrantly if there's one available.

I just got this cymbal but I already love it. I am using it as my primary crash cymbal and its awesome. I wouldn't recommend using it as a ride but it is a great crash. The brilliant finish looks amazing too.
