I just got the sabians xs20's about three days ago and am pretty happy. I went from having Zildjian's ZBT's to Sabian's XS20's. Theirs a HUGE difference. Ride(20") is fantastic. Same with everything else...except... 18" medium thin crash. Just dosnt do it for me. Didnt sound like the other two crashes it came with. Has a weird sound to it. The high-hats are great! Overall, these are great. Cheaper than Zildjians but still have that great sound a cymbol should make. Im looking forward to hearing what these sound like in studio =) .

Great set, I highly recommend it....though it's a bit more expensive than the lower end models, it is worth the extra mile. All cymbals sound great, very shimmering and pretty loud. The splash is definetly my favourite, fast attack with a quick decay. The Ride is also sweet, though a bigger bell would be perfect, but can't complain.

Out of the XS20 line, the only ones that are not my cup of tea are the 14'' crash and China. The 14'' crash doesn't have a long sustain and is kinda bland sound wise, so I use it as the bottom hi hat to get a little more definition on the hi hats.

Overall, I recommend this set, it is worth the money and they cymbals sound great!

I purchased the Xs 20 super set in the "brilliant" finish and I've gotta say, I am LOVING these cymbals! I've been away from drumming for a while (married, kids, bought a house), but recently purchased a new Tama kit to get back into it. I didn't want to spend a ton of money especially not knowing how far this was gonna go because I had been not playing for so many years. At any rate, I am VERY glad I decided to get back into playing and even MORE glad that I decided to get the Xs 20's! They sounded amazing right from the beginnning, but just keep getting better the more I play them. They cut very well and have the perfect amount of sustain. My last kit had a complete set of B8 Pro's and to be honest, I was pretty happy with those. I just wanted to go with something a little better without breaking the bank. The Xs 20 line (in my opinion) is the PERFECT balance of cost / quality... actually, I think you get MORE than what you pay for compared to other brands. I've played the expensive Zildjian's and although they also sound great, these Sabian's sound just as good at a much friendlier price! I've only been playing these for about 2 months now, but so far they look as good as new and are holding up very well (and I'm a heavy hitter). Only time will tell, but if one should start to crack or need to be replaced I'll probably just buy another, they sound THAT good!
