    Precious metal for heavy metal.

Increased metal thickness and a bigger bell combine in this Xs20 Rock Crash to boost power for more volume, greater attack, and cutting penetration.

Xs20 has a bold, updated, professional look with hand-lathing cuts of wide blade grooves into the surface. This updated look combines with B20 "cast" bronze, the metal played by the pros--delivering a bright, musical and extremely serious sound. Sabian's super-hard and musical B20 bronze are formed to shape using innovative and cost-saving Sabian technology.

What makes Xs20 crash cymbal so special is that this is 100% B20, the magical alloy that is pure Sabian "cast" bronze, the most durable and musical of all cymbal metals... the highest tin... the metal played by the pros, including Chad Smith, Jose Pasillas, Mike Portnoy, and Josh Eppard. It took ten years of research to design the world's first and finest budget-priced B20 bronze cymbal. The Sabian Xs20 is the first B20 bronze cymbal to offer high quality at such a low price.

Does your set need a power boost? You need the Xs20.

Great rock crash for a budget

    By TamaSabian9

    from Boston

Comments about Sabian Xs20 Rock Crash Cymbal:

very good sound considering the price range. Miles ahead of B8 or B8 Pro. No unpleasantness overtones. Good for heavy hitters and loud music.

    Nice rock crash

    By Ivan Bernal 68

    from Lima, Peru

Comments about Sabian Xs20 Rock Crash Cymbal:

This cymbal has a nice sound, not too bright as B8s or B8pros (it may be dissapointing for some boys who like rock crashes be extremely bright). It is a matter of taste, for me has a very decent sound, obviously not the power of zildjian Zs or AA metal crashes (if you are a real heavy hitter, go for them). I recently got this (16 inch) for rock and pop gigs, and sounds very good in live conditions. I havent recorded with it yet. I don't think this cymbal be an intermediate one. Its sound is very professional, and I am sure it will last a long time because of its weight and metal (B20 bronze). A good bell too.

    Amazing Instrument

Comments about Sabian Xs20 Rock Crash Cymbal:

I just received my 18" XS20 rock crash today and am absolutely blown away at the sound it has. Like mentioned by others it is very low in sound but I find it amazing in the recordings I laid out today! It is the first b20 cymbal I have owned and have the rock pack on its way! Two thumbs up on this line it blows the B8's out of the water!

    they're.....ok

    By TVrotsyourbrain

    from New Jersey

Comments about Sabian Xs20 Rock Crash Cymbal:

These last quite a while without breaking, but they don't sound all that great in my opinion. There is no brightness, only lower tones. I couldn't use them recording, they sounded terrible.

Comments about Sabian Xs20 Rock Crash Cymbal:

I bought the 18 in for ridin on about 2 years ago and this past week a small crack popped up around the bell which made a rattly sound. Overall this cymbal is good for the price.

    Holds Up Well

    By Beazl

    from Columbia, MO

Comments about Sabian Xs20 Rock Crash Cymbal:

Picked up this cymbal when I needed a new crash and was a little short on cash. I must say it really gets the job done! I have beatin the crap out of it and it holds up well. I have nothing bad to say about the cymbal. I commend Sabian for their innovations and ability to make such a great sounding cymbal for a reasonable price.

    Good tone!

    By Al Nasty

    from El Paso, TX

Comments about Sabian Xs20 Rock Crash Cymbal:

I have owned this cymbal for 2 1/2 years and it's pretty good. It has a lower pitch than the b8 cymbals. This is the second one I have owned and I just cracked it, they usually last me 3 years. If your a heavy hitter then they'll last you about the same. Great for beginners and intermediate's. Sabian makes the best entry level cymbals, can't beat the price!
