It doesn't really have much more than any other pedal I've used but the thing I love about this one is, i don't use heel toe, slide, or swivel when im doing faster beats, i just use my ankle strength. the springs are pretty loose so even if you have a weak kick or use heel down (for some reason) you can get a loud hit without slamming the pedal. and its really easy to adjust the angle of the beater. on some of my friends more expensive pedals we couldnt even figure that out.
Ive had it for almost 2 years and its still holding up as good as when i got it, but some of the screws keep coming loose. you may have to tighten some stuff up regularly but other than that its sturdy.
Amazing pedal for the price. puts together quick, easy to figure out, and will last you a long time.

I bought this pedal two weeks ago. It lasted one hour! I sent it back and got another one thinking it was a fluke. Just broke the new one while putting it together! Very poor quality. The only good thing I can say is musicans friend is being great about it and I am now upgrading to a better pedal. Dont waste your money! Buy a better pedal

What a surprise. I only got this pedal because of a promotion that MF was offering. I have had it for about a month now and its working great. I still prefer two single pedals, but this is a great way to work your way up on a double pedal. Great purchase...would buy again!

I found the pedals fine for use in my studio had it arrived with both set screws to hold the chains to the pedals.I have to come up with a very thin screw to pass through the chain that is long enough and fine threaded before I can even test the pedals.Not the store's fault but what a hassle.The screw was not in the bag with the pedals nor in either of the boxes.

This is my first double pedal, and so far it has fulfilled my expectations. It was extremely easy to set and came with a nice drum key. I've had it for almost a month now, and it's still in one piece. As a beginning drummer, and an intermediate guitarist, I'd say that this is actually a decent pedal. I can get the main (right) beater centered, but there isn't enough room for the pedal to be slid over to compensate for the other beater being offset. This doesn't affect the sound too much. I honestly like it better than some of the other mid-range priced pedals that I have played.

I bought this pedal on sale and it is the best deal on a double pedal hands down! The only thing I found wrong with this pedal was the springs it came with. I replaced them with DW heavy duty springs that you can get on musiciansfriend online and it plays like a double pedal that costs three or four times more than what you pay for this one. Buy this pedal now and replace the springs immediately. You will not be unsatisfied for the price!
