I have owned like 6 or 7 of these Sound Percussion SP880BS stands. Two of them broke on me right away (the height adjustment broke) but the other ones have lasted two years gigging 4-6 gigs a months. Not the best quality, but cheap enough if one breaks to replace it.
These hold up well to weekly gigging. They are fairly heavy and can hold up multiple cymbals and/or toms without wobbling.
I currently only play with 3 of these (1 set up as a straight crash with a tom hanging off of it, 1 as a boom with the ride, and one as a straight crash), so I plan to replace these with much lighter flat-based stands soon, but if I was to continue using them I would be plenty satisfied.

Very sturdy stands. I usually stay with the name brand Tama gear but since these were such a good deal I had to try them out. Worth the money and I highly reccommend them.

Comments about Sound Percussion Double Boom Cymbal Stands - 2-pack:
These stands are fantastic. I've had mine for over 2 years and they haven't given me any trouble. They hold up very well. One of them holds my 16" crash and a 10" tom, and it never tips over. Not even close. The fact that you can get two of these stands for the price of one is crazy to me. You can't go wrong here.

Comments about Sound Percussion Double Boom Cymbal Stands - 2-pack:
I was suspicious when I ordered this, because I couldn't believe the value. But lots of friends swore by them so I got them on faith. They are by far the best stands you can get for your money. Best value there is.
Sturdy, strong, great construction quality. I play them every day, they do their job, they stay when I put them and hold my cymbals up. No matter how long I play, they stay in place. They don't even move.
And now, on sale??? I am getting two more!

Comments about Sound Percussion Double Boom Cymbal Stands - 2-pack:
This review comes as a comparison to the Road Pro stand I recieved at same time. The polish and finish on the 2 pack is really decent, and I was excited as I opened them. Upon inspection, I noticed solid "looking" double braced legs and a smooth tiller. In visual comparison to the road pro, it was very similar. Then I noticed, the stand has only 2 tubes. Im used to 3 tube stands, so this was unsettling. This will limit the height of the stand, and just seems to look/feel odd. I also noticed the cheaply made threads and wing nut, felts, ect. . Theres also no nylon spacers at the log braces, and the nylon at the lock joints looks to be mediocre at best. Then I placed a ride cymbal on it. Wasnt a few seconds later, the stands went back in the box. The price on these is great but unfortunately, "heavy-duty" is an exaggeration. I like the usability of stacking cymbals and i wouldnt want to risk expensive bronze on one of these. At half the price of the road pro, These are 2/3 the quality. Definately a steal, but dont expect TOP notch quality and durability. If you dont NEED a stand for long booms, hard hits, or heavy rides, these may be perfect. Perhaps the dual tubes would be a benefit when moving heavy stuff all day.

Comments about Sound Percussion Double Boom Cymbal Stands - 2-pack:
I read up on these and heard good things so i thought I'd buy myself a set to try them out. Wow are they solid. I liked them so much i bought another set. Nothing has broke on them yet but for the price, they're easy to replace. my only recomendation is to buy some felts, the wing nut doesnt tighten down much, thats if you dont want your cymbal to move which i dont like my china to wobble much. holds up heavy rides, chinas, and cymbal/tom combos. well worth it if you dont want to spend a bunch on name brands.

Comments about Sound Percussion Double Boom Cymbal Stands - 2-pack:
I was very happy when I unpacked these and felt the heaviness of their construction. Very stable and sturdy. I've used poorer quality stands by far. Don't hesitate to purchase these. An excellent bargain. Of course there are more expensive and heavier stands out there, but you're gonna pay more than double. I have a 16 inch med weight crash on one, and an 18 med/heavy crash/ride on the other and they have no issue with balance.

Comments about Sound Percussion Double Boom Cymbal Stands - 2-pack:
As someone who has been drumming for 50 years these boom stands far exceed what I was expecting for the price. How they will hold up after years of use will need to be seen but my personal opinion is that they are equal to any "name brand" stand costing nearly twice as much for one.
