It is cheap and it isn't a King's throne. It is a drummer's seat and you will use this to play your drums. That's about it, I mean look at the pictures, pretty plain. If you are a petty person who says hey my butt really aches, well save some money and buy a cushioned one. I say use a pillow
It does what you want a throne to do, support your butt (unless you are over 300lbs).
It came to my house without a scratch or rip. The metal was shiny, and the leather smelt like leather. I have been using it for 2 years now? Yeah about that long. It still is not ripped and smells like leather.
If you are looking for a seat that isn't a folding metal chair or a cardboard box, and don't have alot of money then buy it.

For less than $30.00 and free shipping this throne is definately worth it's weight. Shipped fast, easy to assemble (came mostly together, I just had to adjust the height and tighten 2 wing nuts.

Sturdy, comfortable, seems to be well made. We used this throne for the first time at a gig that lasted about 45 minutes straight, and it felt realy good after we stopped playing. The padding held up really well, and it seemed to be well balanced. I am impressed by the way it feels, and holds up for the price. You can't beat it.

I was very pleased to see the quality of this drum throne. For the price, it's a great value! There aren't a lot of features on it, but I wasn't looking for a lot.

Only if you are a lightweight beginner.
The design and features of this drum throne appear solid. But the first time I used it during a performance with my band it gave a large cracking noise from the seat base. The plywood platform of the seat seemed to give way . Luckily, the performance ended just in time.
The metal frame is solid, and the seat is comfortable, but the inner plywood base needs improving.
