I bought one stand to try it out, WOW was i Surprized it held my 20" med Ride cymbal great, with no problems. I loved it so much i bought 5 more. I have not had any problems with any of them.I play all the time. The Value,Quality, and structure of them are GREAT. Also my son plays on my kit to, he plays very Hard Rock drum beats with Double Bass, Hard, Loud, and Fast. For the money you can't go Wrong.

ok i own 3 of these stands because i am only 14 and obviously low on cash. at first they were amazing. just like everyone says but after about only 2 months of use i bought a 18 inch china to put on one and played on it for about a week but when i put the china the whole piece that the cymbal sits on fell off and chipped my bran new freaking china. after further investigation I noticed that the metal cracked all the way threw.

These stands are great i own two of them and am gonna buy a third i use them for my two crashes when it comes to the cymbals i am a very hard hitter especially when we play a rock song..I have had no problems with these stands what so ever every week they prove themselves over and over again. They hold up great and dont move at all..Also they are very "flexible" you have greater control on where u have your cymbals placed.. Plus theyre still shiny after a year of hard gigging BUY THEM!!

I just want you all to know that like most Sound Percussion hardware, you get what you pay for. I have four of these stands, only two of which have stood well for me. With the other two, the part that holds the cymbal (circular thing that adjusts the angle and the end of the boom) literally broke off of the boom arm due to 1. small contact area between the two pieces and 2. poorly made cast. On one of these two that broke, there is a part that connects the piece that holds the boom, and the piece that adjusts height. The part also came off and moves left and right when put back on. But I am somewhat of a hard hitter and these problems only happened on the stands that held my bigger cymbals so I guess they can't take that kind of vibration. If I were you I would spend the extra $20-30 and get a Tama Roadpro stand or a Gibraltar.
