Valued addition to my drum hardware, highly recommended. I use the L-rod to hold my ride when using my floor tom for a kick, using one of the leg mounts, and it does that job just fine as well.
Versatile fits 12.9 down to 8mm if you want.
Heavy Duty, no slippage and its holding a 16" crash.
Worth full price, but I got it on "Stupid Deal of the Day" so it was well worth the money.

This is a great invention! You can put another small cymbal on any existing 12.7mm (1/2") boom arm or down tube. PLEASE NOTE: The description says 10.5mm (which will work), but the small L-arm is 12.7mm in diameter and eyebolts on both sides fit 12.7mm items. You can also use any other 12.7mm downtube or boom arm in place of the small L-arm. Yamaha, Gibraltar, Sound Percussion and DW boom arms are all 12.7mm in diameter. The ratchet clamps (to which the eyebolts are attached) are adjustable 360 degrees. This is a great way to run a splash or small crash off an existing boom stand, without having to worry about a multi-clamp, which can slip and will dent your hardware. This eyebolt grips the boom arm 360 degrees all the way around, so there is no slipping and no denting of your hardware. Makes life a LOT easier!
