This thing gets the job done. It is VERY heavy duty (this thing holds up my 14 x 12 1/2 floor tom). It could probably hold up heavier drums, if you have the right cymbal stands. I use everything Sound Percussion. Great hi-hat stands, heavy duty boom stands, good pedals. I wouldn't shop from any other brand besides this one. And they are REALLY cheap compared to higher brand names such as Gibraltar or DW. Start buying from this company. You WON'T be disappointed.

i bought this to use with a Gibraltar SC-CA Cymbal Arm, and as others have said, make sure you are using an extension (or cymbal arm) that is of the appropriate thickness. the cymbal arm i bought with it was too thin for the clamp to bite into, so i wrapped the arm in tape to thicken it up and then it worked fine. I couldn't take off any stars for this because i took the risk going in.

These multi clamps are great for downsizing. When used with mini boom stands & cymbal stackers, you can significantly reduce the amount of hardware needed. I now have two cymbal stands supporting eight cymbals.
