I think you satisfaction with these beaters depends on how you play.
I utilize a lot of quick double bass patterns (160 +, double stroke rolls, etc.) and these guys wear me out. They are very heavy. This is good and bad because it gives a nice punchy kick, but takes a lot more effort to get going/keep going.
If you are looking for a solid dependable beater with good attack, and you play slower stuff, get these without a doubt. If you play on the more metal spectrum, then I would suggest trying to find something alittle lighter.
There are not really many features with bass drum beaters outside of adjustability. These beaters are not adjustable, but there are two different beater sides (rubber-felt) so you kind of get two beaters in one.
I rate my quality on straight out wear an tear value.
These beaters can take any abuse you put them through. I have been using them for close to 2 years and I have never had a problem. Unlike my Yamaha beaters that eventually just came apart.
These beaters are solid, dependable work horses and they are not very expensive.

These beaters are good but they are a bit bulky and don't cut very well. I have these on my Tama Iron cobra JR. Double pedal. Ive been playing for about 3 years now and owned/used enough products to know that these are bulky, and wear you out after only a couple minutes of double pedal. These beaters also dent your bass head and soon tears it after awhile (have had the experience before), i recommend a Tama Falam Slam or Gibraltar click pad.

I've played drums for 18 years and never found a beater as awesome and perfectly weighted. I used a Tama Iron Cobra (which I also recommend) and have tried Pearl, DW, and Gibraltar beaters. This one has a good weight, and the actual beater is not adjustable, which is perfect, because if you're a hard hitter like me they move on their own, no matter how tightened they are. This one doesn't, and I highly recommend this beater.

i havent had any trouble with it, it seems like a very good beater. it looks heavy but isnt too heavy (has some weight though, but thats a good thing). the only problem is that the felt side is so hard its not that much different from the plastic side.good beater 8.5/10
