The Tama HT750C Ergo-Rider Hydraulix drum throne is a hybrid of a round seat and a saddle seat with the convenience of hydraulic height adjustment. It combines the versatility of a round seat and the playability of saddle designs. Its front cutaway allows completely unimpeded thigh movement, even during the most rapid double bass patterns. In addition, two gentle seat indentations and an added 20mm upper insert of soft foam encourage the right posture while providing total playing comfort.
By simply activating a lever, this drum throne allows effortless height adjustment. And because Hydraulix features a seat that can be removed from the base, this innovative throne offers an easy-to-store and transport throne.
The drum throne also features Tama's Foot Life—an innovative plastic leg attachment that eliminates the wear and tear of metal to metal contact for longer foot life.

It is what I expected from a Tama product. It more than met my requirements when looking for a new throne. I am done with the traditional throne. If it breaks tomorrow I will replace it just because of it's comfort and feel when playing.
Hydraulics are percise. Very comfortable. Swivel movement is perfect. Don't worry about the fabric
material causing side to side motion.
Tama makes great equipment, Their roadpro series holds up well. I expected nothing less when I ordered this throne. No squeaks or buckle when playing. I am a pretty heavy guy at 225 and the throne works great. What I really like is the just the right amount of rebound in the throne when playing. When I ordered this I thought that might be a problem witht he kick action or with double bass pedals. Within 5 minutes of using this throne I found the bounce helped with the rebound of the bass. I love it,
I did not give this a 10 due to comparitive pricing for other comparable thrones with the same features. It cost more, period. Is the cost worth it? Can't answer that yet. Time will tell on how it holds up. So given that, let me say I have used Tama products for the past 15 years and I am sold on their quality and value. I expect this throne to be around a long time. If you play a lot of hours then get it.

My only hesitation in giving this a 10 is the base is a tripod design. Previously, I had a 4-leg design. With this tripod, if you start to lean to any side, you start to lose balance. Since it's fabric, you need to be mindful if you're going to lean to the side and reach for anything...but it's solid, smooth, and responsive when playing on the kit.
the hydraulic feature is a must..for pinpoint comfort and performance.
very well made...my solution to the 'exposed' plastic piece at the top of the base stand (what trips the hydraulic feature) was to cap it with old prescription bottle. Depending on how you transport this, that exposed part needs protection.
This throne is in the top end of what you'll pay for a high quality hydraulic throne. And the cushion is very comfortable ..and nice blend of round/bench design. The fabric is not a smooth vinyl, but more cloth-like. You don't slip and slide...but.....see overall comment.

I was just quickly brushing through the music store looking for a snare and throne i needed with only ten minutes till the store closed. I picked this chair because it was just one of a few thrones that had comfort and good price as a quick pick. When I had gone home to setup my current kit for band practice I was suprised how easy it was to set up the chair; I didnt even have to read the instructions, being that it was a hydrualic chair. But with out further adu I have to say this throne is really confortable and it is able to swivel perfectly when I double kick. I have to say I am actually able to sit upright and play quickly and easily. I think the value of this throne is remarkable considering the actual hardware but mostly the natural posture and resulting performance of the player. Buy it, and you will not be disapointed. REALLY!!!
