Tama

Raises the bar for hi-hats with its revolutionary lever-based design.

The Tama Iron Cobra hi-hat was designed to be the perfect counterpart to Iron Cobra bass pedals. Iron Cobra hi-hats offer incomparable sensitivity, lightning fast action, player friendly adjustments, and an absolutely noiseless design.

The idea of replacing the traditional pull mechanism with a lever design was a genuinely revolutionary concept. Our Iron Cobra version uses roller bearings at the lever fulcrum for even smoother footboard action while a super-strong Kevlar® strap connects the footboard and pull rod for even, noise-free action.

A superior two-legged hi-hat from the hardware wizards at Tama.

Comments about Tama HH905N Iron Cobra Lever Glide Glide Hi-hat Stand:

I have owned this hi hat for a few months now and I absolutely love it. I also own a dw 9000 hat stand, and I far prefer the Tama. The Iron cobra has so many more features that dw decided to exclude or ask that you pay in order to have that luxury. The price first off, the tama is far cheaper. The adjustment to the footboard height is another big thing for me. Two screws and you're set on the Tama. The Dw has a set of footplates you have to purchase seperately in order to raise your heel to the desired level not the footboard itself. Next I really like the feet as tama have placed spurs on them. These have helped me quite a bit at times where i forgot my rug on stage, just had a bad rug or what not as i like to stomp a little harder than some when i get into the music ha ha. I also prefer the feel of the iron cobra it just seems more fluid like to me idk this is a subjective thing. All I know is definitely try this guy out if you're in the market. I'm willing to bet you'll take it home.

Comments about Tama HH905N Iron Cobra Lever Glide Glide Hi-hat Stand:

Personally, I love this stand. I got one back in the 90s and have used it on tour since. It's very reliable, durable, and has lasted through many a stage disaster. Worth the money and more.

      Awesome HiHat Stand

      By DrumChick

Comments about Tama HH905N Iron Cobra Lever Glide Glide Hi-hat Stand:

The feature I like the most second to the smooth and silent operation, is the folding pedal. Other two-legged stands I have owned have a fixed pedal that replaces the third missing leg. This unit has a pedal that not only supports the stand but also folds up to be stored neatly in your gear bag. This is a winner hi hat stand. Great features. Great quality. Great value.
This stand has all the features you may ever want. First and foremost, the pedal folds up for transport in your grear bag. You can adjust the spring tension, the height of the hats, and even the tilt of the stand!
This stand is of first rate quality. The unit is silent, it operates smoothly, and is built very robustly.
This stand is more expensive that others, but when you count all the features, and the quality, you are paying for the value of the unit.
