Comments about Tama Iron Cobra Left-handed Power Glide Double Pedal:
For me, this pedal was not best suited for the style of music I've evolved into playing on a regular basis. It's a solid rock pedal, but not meant for speed. This also happened to be my first pair of doubles, and I felt it made me exert more than a drummer should. I felt strained doing anything remotely fast for 16th notes, and over time, even with adjustments, the pedals became sluggish, and I might have developed bad habits during the learning process. I would say that these are worth the buck if you're starting out, and need a good starter double pedal. I recently switched to direct drive with the Axis Longboard X in the left-footed version, and I absolutely love the feeling more so than I did with a chain drive. It comes down to preference, and feeling. I gave these a shot for the last 10 years, and they served their purpose.
