Built around an 18x22 in. bass drum, this Silverstar Birch kit is one of the most musically adaptable in its category. Tama’s Birch shells offer what sound engineers call a “naturally EQ’d” response, meaning they can be mic’d with a minimum of fuss, whether on stage or in the studio.

The Star-Mount System was developed specifically to maximize the resonance of drums. This mounting system provides support at four points on the batter side hoop of a drum. The bracket eye-bolts slide to the left and right, so the user can easily avoid the eye-bolts touching each other even when setting up two toms close to each other. In addition, the Slidable Tom Holder allows for nearly two inches of tom-tom stem adjustability (front to back).
