I bought this 3 weeks ago, and when I got it home from my local music store it sounded cheap! I have been playing drums for 16 years professionally as a studio musician; so I have properly tuned a drum or two in my day. I tuned it up and it still sounded cheap! So I let my drum tech tune it and sure enough, still cheap. Needless to say I am extremely unhappy with this snare. Sounds like a low-end Pearl snare. Buyers beware.
