im in a local hxc band and ive been wearing ou tmy PDP pedals for quite some time.im saving up for a new kit and my money-blessed bassist offered to help me ou and buy these pedals for me. Ive had them for a few weeks and i must say.im extremely satisfired. The hardware and support of these pedals is thicker than most and they are a very nice pair of sturdy solid pedals. When u tighten them onto ur bass drum, they arent going anywhere(which was a prob with the PDP's). I am not a huge fan on speed metal blast beats but i do do small rolls and tons of doubles and triplets and these pedals are very smooth and suitable for them. I have no doubt that they could whip out some speed blast beats as well, but i havent taken a crack at it yet. I say get these pedals.i Havent playyed Iron Cobras but in a fewother reviews, they say that these pedals own over them.Go for it.

this is a nice pedal, definitely for the price. and it's very fast, and smooth. but I've had lots of problems with it. first, the plate under the spring latch came loose, which could be fixed with an allan wrench. next, the screw holing on the spring stripped and was stuck. The beater head constantly comes loose and plops around, giving it a bad sound. Overall, a poorly made pedal. I'd save up for a higher end pedal next time.

Comments about Taye Drums PSK602C Bass Drum Double Pedal:

I've had these pedals for a little over two years now, and the were perfectly fine until about 1 1/2 years in, when they started to not respond, i tried tightening and loosing everything, i even greased it up but it just wouldn't work...not worth the money.

Great but could be better.

Comments about Taye Drums PSK602C Bass Drum Double Pedal:

I got this pedal as a gift. I hooked it up and I was amazed on how smoothly it plays. After a month I was blasting out 32s with ease. The only problem I have is the beater plates slip and mess up your timing.

uggh!

Comments about Taye Drums PSK602C Bass Drum Double Pedal:

God! I have to play with these every week at my lessons and i almost hate them, I mean there alright if they're your only option but they're waaaaaay too loose! They are also really hard to adjust (although I am not sure how much they're abused when I am not around). If you like it really loose then go for it but I just can't keep up the beat at very fast speeds.

Comments about Taye Drums PSK602C Bass Drum Double Pedal:

I played this pedal at a local shop, set up on a demo set. At first I didnt take notice of it (I was mainly looking at the snare). But once I relized I was blasting 32nds like nothing!! And poundin out triplets like butter!! Then saw the price!!! (whitch is the same musicians friend had it listed at) I bought one that day..the drum heads iI went in for can wait till next paycheck. These replace my ironcobras..now I have to cover the sticker on my bassdrum head

Comments about Taye Drums PSK602C Bass Drum Double Pedal:

I just ordered one of these today and I can't wait to get them after years of using the DW 7000 (single chain version) which really sucks!!! I'm sure I'm not a better player because of those DW7000 pedals, I hope these ones (Taye)are a lot better to play at fast speeds with the ankles.

Amazing Double Pedal!!!

By TayeOwner123

Comments about Taye Drums PSK602C Bass Drum Double Pedal:

I have played iron cobras, but this pedal blow that one out of the water. The smoothness of this pedal is phenominal! The only draw back, which isnt a big deal, is that fact taht the tention springs r sometimes hard to adjust...but this could probably be fixed with some oil!Over all a great product for Taye!

I have had this pedal for about a month now and it is awesome. It's fast, sturdy, and well worth the money. I recommend this pedal for anyone who wants a good reliable and fast pedal for a reasonable price.
