The maple shells erupt in an optimum blend of highs, lows, and mids, which makes this series the pinnacle of Taye's drum product line. It also features triple-flange hoops, and a beautiful finish.

    It is thin and resonant, made from fine maple veneers, cross laminated and molded using state of the art techniques, as well as rigid and durable. It promotes low fundamental tones, with superb attack and blossoming of mid frequencies.     I always wanted an additional floor tom to fill the gap between my 12" rack tom and 16" floor tom on my TAYE studio maple kit. The 14" floor tom sounded great at a local gig in a small hall. It's nice & warm, even with the stock head. Nice & simple construction, nothing flashy. Just solid. My kit is an older early series kit, so my finish is slightly yellow-er/darker than the new tom. But, it's not too far off. I'm just being picky.

    Delivery from M.F was FAST!! I received it within 6 days from ordering it, WOW!!!

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
