    This drum proves size doesn't matter. It needed to be tuned a bit, but that was to be expected; what I didn't expect is that after it was tuned, it sounded just as dignified as its larger brothers. I used it recently in a Beltane ritual outdoors and it was heard over a large radius. I am simply amazed that the drum sounds as good as it does and the price was excellent. "Bottom Line" asks if I would recommend this to a friend, but in point of fact I have recommended it to at least five friends and I'm soon to do so again.

              The drum sounds good for having a synthetic head, the size is as advertised, the color is slightly darker than the picture, the paint job has some flaws in it underneath the rope for tuning, it looks like they put the rope on when the paint was wet, that's the only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. Overall the drum is worth the money, I got it to take on hikes, and the size is just right for hanging off of my pack.
