    This Trick black-finish kick drum was cast from Trick's special resonant alloy—AL13. Trick's material comes certified from the mill, and guarantees the same hardness and thickness of every Trick drum shell to 1/8" or 3.175mm. AL13 provides the pureness of tone, resonance, durability, and performance that comes standard with every drum Trick builds. Trick's manufacturing process and material allows. Trick's design simply utilizes the natural law of physics, allowing all Trick Drums to resonate to their full potential.

    Trick Drums also feature bearing edges that are lathe-cut to an exacting double 45°. This allows for superior attack, sensitivity, and faster tuning.

        I use the 18 x 20 for my live kit and it is noticibly better. I have both a Sonor acrylic kit and a Yamaha birch. I use the Trick kick in the middle and the other two for visual. Trick has done a very progressive move regarding drums. I will most likely purchase an entire Trick kit.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

        This drum is a dream. Seriously it has the perfect punch. The turning knobs are so much easier than lugnuts. Everything about this bass drum is nicer, it is nice and light too. No complaints about this bass drum, it is pricey but worth it. It will never warp.

        I own the 18x20 with emad heads. This is by far the punchiest kick I've had. Very focused. Both musicians and sound guys rave about it.
