      Trick Drums

Make your kick drum sound like you're packing a lead foot.

Dominator pedal is Trick's all-machined bass drum beater with a telescoping beater head. The beater shaft is crafted from a unique metal called Fatigue Proof Steel, which allows the shaft to absorb the exact amount of flex necessary to keep it from breaking under repeated heavy impact.

The Dominator beater is heavier than the Pro 1 V Beater and adds additional punch to those that require added mass.

Add more punch to your kick. Order the Dominator beater today.

Comments about Trick Drums Dominator Beater:

In my professional career, Trick makes the best quality bass drum pedals hands down. There is nothing that even comes close. While the Dominator beater is heavier than the Detonator beater, it's quality all the same. Seeing the Dominator beater is a heavier beater you probably won't be able to get the lightening quick response that you would with the Detonator beater. You'll have to keep that in mind as spring tension now becomes a factor. This depends on how technically fussy you may be (I am very fussy). Basically it's laws of common sense. Heavier beater - slower response. Lighter beater - faster response. If a fast response is not a concern, then you'll be fine. I do a lot of hard rock and heavy metal drumming and recording. I like a bass drum to have a lot of "click" staccato definition. All of Tricks pedals and beaters will deliver. Their quality is the best. Other drummers will definitely notice the cool design as well. Two thumbs way up!

        BEAT THIS!

        By DRUMMER

        from EAST COAST

Comments about Trick Drums Dominator Beater:

Just received two of these beaters today from Musicians Friend and put them on my IC's. I love them. I recently purchased the Trick Bigfoots (should be shipping tomorrow) and wanted a heavier beater for when I demo-ed these pedals at my local shop, the felt too light....aside from that, they were amazing, with INFINITE adjustment possibilities....but back to the Dominator beaters....rock solid, telescopic beater head WITH alan wrench for shaft slide adjustment(each beater came with it's own wrench). Punch isn't as "wet" as I anticipated and low end was more than I had hoped for, epecially considering these beaters are metal. Now I use the Iron Cobra Junior beater (with one weight each) on my Power Glides because I like the cylinder head, depth and dual sided option...plus they aren't as top heavy in throw feel as the DW beaters so I've been an avid user. Now this will sound ridiculous but the Cobras are playing SMOOTHER with the Dominators installed....not sure why, they just are. Holding the Jr. Cobra and Dominator in hand side by side, they feel almost equal in weight. Also, more striking surface area avaiable with the Cobra but it doesn't make a difference. Maybe it's the Steel beater rebounding quicker off the head...not sure but the Dominator is my new choice. Now, I JUST got them and have only played with them for 2 hours now but man, there has been NO adjustment, break in period. LOVE THEM and can't wait to get my Bigfoots to put them in. Well done, Trick....very nice beaters indeed...oh, and not to bad on the wallet either.
