The traditional Trophy Bodhran drum provides the vital pulse of Celtic music even in modern times. Play the Bodhran with a double beater with one hand producing complex rhythms while the other hand adds tonal expression by muting or applying tension to the inside surface of the drum's head. Decent drums for casual use

      Comments about Trophy 14"" and 18"" Bodhran Set:

      I now own five of these drums 3 - 18" and 2 - 14". I mostly use them for painting shamanic images on them and display They are certainly an excellent value for that. This set is a bit odd in that 14" has a deeper and more resonant tone than the 18". That is not true of the others I have. I'm hoping to to use one of these for playing Looks like it will be the 14". I don't think these are up to Celtic performance standards but are fine for casual drumming. The tippers are different sizes to. The larger is much more comfortable to use. Mine came on separate orders without the fancy trim around the head. I think they ran out of the sets and sent individual drums for the same price. That works okay for me.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      These are the higher pitched versions, but they are fun to play! It's like having a little piece of Ireland right at home!! I recommend these! Good quality!
