Derek Roddy's Vater drumsticks are in between a 5A and 5B in the grip. The stick features a really quick taper to a small acorn tip for warm but defined cymbal tones. A great stick for a variety of musical applications.

    The Derek Roddy drumsticks are the best sticks I've ever found! To me, no other stick even compares.. I love the way they feel and they work great for me. I choose them over any other stick on the market, but I can not find them anywhere any more and I can not understand why all of the local stores stock up on other types of sticks that no one ever buys.. This has got to stop! I've found only one pair here.. So I will go ahead and say "SOLD" ..Please stock up on these if u want to increase drumstick sales. Thanks

    pretty good, but not perfect

    Comments about Vater Derek Roddy Drumsticks:

    I am a fan of Derek Roddy and I decided to move up from the Promark 515 models up to this one. I have to admit, the balance and weight of this stick is downright amazing, I can do everything way smoother and faster, but my rimshots, and my splash tear these sticks up. I only wish they were more durable :/
