Great sticks for heavy hitters.
This pack includes 4 pairs of Vater drumsticks designed by Mike Wengren, the multi-platinum drummer of the band Disturbed. Mike's drumsticks measure in between a 5B and a 2B with a quick taper to an oval nylon tip. The extra length gives the sticks some added weight and a bit more reach. Nicely weighted and durable, the Mike Wengren model is a great stick for hard-hitting drumming. The drumsticks are finished in a black stain with artwork featuring Disturbed's album logos.

I would recommend. I bought these for my son who's 10yrs old, for band at his school and for the full size drum set at home. He loved the fact they are from the band DISTURBED! I love the great pricing! They sound much better than the ludwig that came with the student set.

This is a nice stick but its just too big for me. I have been playing the drums for nine years and have never seen a stick last as long as these. They seem to never break, but are bad for your cymbals. I dont recomend these for church music but would be indestructable for heavy metal. I still have yet to break one of these sticks and im not the easiest hitter.

I have used these sticks for about 5 months now and absolutely love them, the paint has chipped off a little bit, but that is it, haven't broken one stick. Truly amazing and the sound they give, second to none. Buy them, you won't be sorry

After trying literally every brand of stick on the market (Vic Firth, Pro Mark, Zildjian, Ahead, etc) I finally decided to give Vater a try. I went ahead and bought the Mike Wengren sticks because I heard a lot of good stuff about them. On the sticks are three logos from Disturbed's first three albums; the Sickness, Believe, and 10,000 Fists. I wish they had put the Indestructable logo on there because that's just what these sticks are! After three months of playing with these sticks I've only broken one stick and cracked a nylon tip off. I love the length of this stick. I keep my high hat a little far off to the left, so the length of the stick makes it easier for me to reach. I've heard alot of people say that they leave black marks on their cymbals, but my cymbal are spotless. I use Vater grip tape on these to give me a comfortable grip on the stick. You really can't go wrong with these sticks. They last forever and feel awesome. I think I can finally say that I've found the perfect sticks.

I have had these sticks for a year now. I use them on my electronic drums and they just 'feel' better than all of the other sets that I've tried. Actually, to me, they seem a small amount heavier than all of my other sticks. But that's kinda what I like about them! They absolutely hit heavier! I like Metal and Grunge. I'm getting 5 more pair to jam on my buddies' acoustic drums. Played them there already and they stayed awesome! Definitely buy 'em!!!!!!!

The Vater Mike Wengren model drumsticks are the best sticks I have ever used. They exceed all standards that I look for in a stick. These sticks look heavy and have some meat to them yet they are extremely light and feel great in your hands. Add some Ahead grip tape to them and IMHO you got yourself the best stick/grip dou on the market today. I play very heavy music and I am a heavy hitter, I am hard on sticks but these ones are the only sticks that I can get 4 to 5 gigs out of a pair along with practice in between. I have used other sticks that don't get me through the first set let alone 4 or 5 shows. Because of the angle I stike my hihats and hit my crash cymbals; my sticks are vulnerable to wear out and crack from below the nylon tip to about 4 inches down the shaft. I have extremely wore these sticks out in that area but have yet to break one in that area. Buy these sticks you won't be sorry!
