              I used Pro-Mark's for decades, but the Vic Firth Players label sticks are just too cool for gigs, then I just use these regular ones for practice; they are a quality stick, IMHO...for me, they do not break but eventually the tip gets worn/chipped away

                    I love these sticks. I've tried other sizes and manufacturers but Vic Firth 8D's have become my favorite. They seem to break less than other manufacturers, they're sound seems intuitive to me, they're easy to hold on to without having to resort to grip tape.
