If you're heavy handed, these are NOT for you. If you want a light touch with a little pop......these are a great stick to use, especially if you're playing in a small venue.

I love the feeling of these sticks. They have very interesting tip, so small acorn. Beautiful cymbal sound and even practice pad sounds better;) I'm in love with my Vic's Abe Laborial Sig sticks and these are their thinner brother, I think. Nice rebound, cool look. This is my first model with Vic Grip and I like the feeling of it. Very strong grip, a little bit sticky. The quality of sticks is hands down, as usually quality of Vic's sticks. I recommend it to everyone for any style of music.

Overall these are my favorite sticks ive ever played or bought. And ive bought ALOT of sticks. I love longer drumsticks so I tried these and Im very very glad I did. The balance and weight of these sticks are truely remarkable. I love the tip as well, its not to big or to small. Wish they had them in nylon tip, then they would be the best stick ever made. I only use these and the Vic Firth Steve Jordan's, which are also amazing sticks but nothing ive played comes close to these drumsticks. Especially if you wear gloves then they are even better, since the vic grip really lets you control the stick. Seriously dont hesitate, buy these drumsticks and you will be forever grateful you did.
A 17 inch stick with Vic Non Slip Coating and a perfect tip. Awesome
For having a small .520 diameter these sticks are solid and dont break as easy as you would think.
They are a little pricey but to me they are well worth it. Especially since I use them on mesh heads on my Roland Drum kit. As long as I dont smack the rims to hard, drumstick last me a very long time. Compared to someone playing on an acoustic kit.

Great Light stick with plenty of length, sounds great clicked together. Very nice sounding on cymbals. Holds up well, despite the .520 Diameter.I would buy more if in Stock.

ok, first of all, the 17 inches in length are what really make them stand out.. they play extremely well for jazz, as well as funk and rock. the vic grip is a nice touch, and a big help to sweaty handed players like myself. i like the extra long taper as well. if musicians friend ever discontinues this stick, i dont know if i will ever find one quite like it. get them.
