These sticks are hard wood and sturdy enough for my needs. A bargain at the price.
I purchased theseAlex Acuna Conquistador Timbale Sticks to play shime daiko (small drum for base beat and solos) in a taiko ensemble group I play with. They're light and sturdy.
The sticks are well-crafted.
At this price, it's easy to purchase multiple pairs, which I did sight unseen.

These sticks are pretty decent. They're made for Timbale so when you play on a kit you get a Ping from the snare drum. I don't recommend them for the Ride cymbal either. If you like the heavy PING but all means they're perfect. I bought them and I mess around with them here and there. They're great for world drumming and Latin drumming. I don't recommend them if you are strictly a rock drummer, but give them a try! For a price like that you can't go wrong!

I play Heavy Metal and I'm sure all of you know that that goes hand-in-hand with using double-butted sticks. When I realized that I needed lighter sticks than what I normally used, I found these babies and they work great on my drumset. They're awesome because they give a nice loud sound just like any other double-butted stick, and they are a lot less damaging to your heads. These sticks are also very light so it doesn't slow down you playing at all, and they have GREAT ride definition. The only problem is that they break after two or three months, so I suggest you buy two or three pairs if you hit hard, like me. For the price, what thinking is there to do?

these are very good sticks for an electric drumset, they are very lightweight, making it easy to do rolls and do faster beats, but sometimes i will hold these sticks and get cramps in my hand because they are so small. but overall, i beleive that these are very good drum sticks.
