      Vic Firth

A great choice for drum set‚ multi-percussion or percussion ensemble settings.

These sticks feature a dense felt head. The result is an extremely well balanced stick with a sound that is warmer than a conventional wood tip.

The American Classic line combines tradition and Vic Firth style. With bold designs for fuller sound and deeply back-cut tips for intensified cymbal response, the American Classic drumsticks are turned from select hickory, further enhancing their durability and sound.

Comments about Vic Firth American Classic Drumsticks with Soft Touch Felt Tip:

I don't love these, and I really wanted to. The felt tip is white and larger than it looks in the photo, unless they've been redesigned. Problem is, the tone they produce on cymbals is not good, yet it's loud...and they are too loud for my intended purpose of playing quietly.

While they do offer something different tonaly, I just don't care for it, but that doesn't mean you won't. They are worth a try.
