      I like the Vic Firth 1As a lot.
      Before these, I was using the Vater 1As, which are generally awesome sticks. After too many curvy Vater "bananas" though, I needed something else with an extra long length and medium-ish heft. The Vic Firths are a good substitute. The relatively bulbous taper wears very well, the tips don't chip as much, and they're consistantly straight. I use them for everything. :)

      Vic firth is a great brand they have amazing quality sticks no matter what size you use, i have had a pair of these sticks for weeks now, i am a hardcore player and haven't even broken the 1 pair I have. And I ordered another pair just in case! Worth every penny, i am going to buy another pair tomorrow too! I recommend these sticks to any drummer from first day of being a drummer to a player of 20 years! The only pair i will use.

        I absolutley love these sticks! They seem to be copies of the Tommy Lee Signature Series from many years ago. These sticks are longer than most at 17 inches. The diameter feels like a 2B. They hold up very well for me even with my rimshot backbeat style of playing. Thanks to Musician's Friend for the excellent service!

                      I personally use the 55A model. The sticks provide the versatility of a regular 5A and the attack of a pair of 5B sticks. These are the perfect sticks for me personally. I would recommend these sticks to anyone in any model be it the lightest sticks to the sticks suited for heavier styles.
