These are a decent set of sticks for the price. I got the red ones in 5A and they are very comfortable. The only complaint is that they leave red marks on my cymbals and heads, but i should have figured that. i would suggest the nylon tips to avoid this problem.

These are budget quality sticks- NOT just renamed blemished Vic Firths. They have different paint, different tip shape, and most crucially, different taper: the 5B model's is a much shorter & more abrupt taper- making them front heavy compared to Vic Firth 5B sticks. Not bad- but not a deal on real Vic Firths...

I bought these (the red version) for my four-year old son to play with. At the price, I didn't expect them to last long, but I didn't expect them to break the very first time he used them either. I was very disappointed, but not as disappointed as my son.

I do not like the weakness and propensity to break in half early in the life cycle.
I used these drum sticks twice and one of them broke in half. It had a knot right in the center and the stick dissintegrated. How sad. They were so inexpensive, I did not even bother about reporting the issue, but I cannot recommend these sticks.
They broke in the 2nd use.

I bought these to use in a pinch because I went on tour with my band and quickly ran out of sticks from them breaking. These are good for a pinch but not much more than that. If you want something that will last i would recommend getting a little more expensive stick.

I got a pair of these sticks about 4 years ago and still have them. I got them when I played a lot more back in high school and they stood up to the abuse pretty well. They do chip and splinter, but you can make these last awhile. They do have a chance of leaving black or red, (depending on what color you get), marks behind as you play. These sticks worked great for me, but I have noticed others having a lot of trouble with them. I would suggest at least trying them out and seeing if you like them.

These sticks break very fast, i bought two pairs and they broke within 2 weeks. Definitely not the quality you would expect from vix firth.
