Wuhan chinas are well made to the point I've had my 14" for almost 2 years. When I first bought my 14" china I was just looking for something to hold me off till I could get a higher name brand, but I was fully surprised. It was loud, trashy, and sounded great on recording. I've beat the heck out of that china when I really get into my metal covers. To prove my point, my Zildjian K Custom cracked and my china still hasn't.
The 14" is great as a china to ride on and use for those slower, really heavy parts.
I just bought a 12" as well and it has more of a trashcan feel to it. It's great for accenting a crash or adding to a splash to give a nice crunchy sound.
I'll soon be buying a 16" to finish off my chinas on my set. From what I've heard it has a nice crunchy sound to it and will give a really good tone to those metal choruses and breaks.
From my experience, these are perfect. They last long, sound great, and you can't beat the price anywhere.
Also, people say they crack easy. Those people hit them on the edge where it's thinner. Tilt the cymbal so you're hitting the inner raised part. It's thicker and will give a better tone as well.

Gave my conservative kit just the trashy edge it needed, for when I'm feeling naughty! Sounds like hitting a controlled trash can lid. But that's what we're looking for, right? For the price, it was worth it. It's quite thin so, I installed it with a medium Aquarian cymbal spring to make it last. Recommended!
A very rough, 'hand-made' look to it. Leaves stick-marks very easily. The inside of the bell is unpolished and looks like raw casting but your cymbal felts should cover that up for the most part.
Gave my conservative kit just the trashy little edge it needed, for when I'm feeling naughty! Sounds like hitting a controlled trash can lid. But that's what we're looking for, right? For the price, it was worth it. It's quite thin so, I installed it with a medium Aquarian cymbal spring to make it last. Recommended

Comments about Wuhan China Cymbal:
I've been a drummer for about 3 years now, this was my first china cymbal simply because it was cheap like everything else on my kit at the time. i have owned 3 Wuhans: the 12 inch, the 16 inch and the 20 inch. They all sound differently (in a good way) meaning each one has its own unique sound. Trashy, dark, explosive, bright are just a few words to describe this china. they are also very durable, NONE of the ones i have owned have cracked, chipped etc. I highly recommend this china specifically the 18 if you play heavy metal/ death metal. Awesome durable china without breaking your wallet!

Comments about Wuhan China Cymbal:
So when my band wenuple of practice in there and that's where things went south. I started noticing the sound was a little different than normal so I looked it over and quickly saw that there was a very sizable crack running around it. I kept on with practice and by the time it was over it had lost a considerable amount of its volume and pizzazz. This could be because I'm in a metal band and I don't just tap my cymbals but I've had Chinas last sooooooooooooo much longer than this one. Next time I might go a little easier on it and see how long it'll last me. Worth the money for how amazing it sounds; even if it lasts a month or two

Comments about Wuhan China Cymbal:
I've had trouble finding a china cymbal with what i was looking for. which was quick accents, response for dance type music. for the price i've been happy with the choice. Decided to try the Wuhan chinas. Classic china sound.

Comments about Wuhan China Cymbal:
I used to have a Sabian AA china which was good and then it got a crack after 12 years, so I got this and wow! I should have bought this in the first place, it is much cheaper and sounds great! Like a trashcan lid. It has a slight after ring that I don't like, but I put a dampening gel on it and it sounds great now!
Pros
Cons
- Flat Sound

Comments about Wuhan China Cymbal:
The 12" does not sound at all like the larger versions. It has sort of a harsh monotone sound. It is not nearly as thin and flexible as the larger china. I will stick with the 16" and larger from now on.

Comments about Wuhan China Cymbal:
I love wuhan's chinas. I play metal and i always look for chinas that give me a meshuggah-like sound.
The sound projects very good and sounds loudly enough not to get covered by a crashing ride or a big crash

- Explosive Attack
- Responsive Feel

Comments about Wuhan China Cymbal:
Good quality trashy China sound. i bought one for my self and one for my nephew who drums. good price, but be sure to get the "Aquarian Cymbal Spring Heavy".....you can read my review on that too. it is a must for this style China cymbal.
Pros
- Explosive Attack
- Rapid Decay
- Responsive Feel
- Unbeatable For The Price
Cons
- Every One Sounds Differen
Best Uses
- All Situations
Comments about Wuhan China Cymbal:
Wuhan is unbeatable in the china cymbal arena if you want an explosive attack and rapid decay. One drawback is that every cymbal sounds completely different so you never know what you're getting. One guarantee though, at their extremely affordable price, you can always use an odd sounding wuhan as a great effect! I will only buy wuhans when it comes to chinas and I am going to take a chance on a crash as well.
Pros
- Bright Sound
- Explosive Attack
Cons
Best Uses
- Small Venues
Comments about Wuhan China Cymbal:
Got this as a X-mas gift because of the fantastic Musician's Friend price and I am very pleased.
